What sort of storytelling performances do Soul Food Tellers offer?
Soul Food Tellers can offer storytelling performances to suit audiences of all ages. A selection of some of their school and family performances are listed on the adults shows and childrens shows pages. Soul Food Tellers can also tailor performances to specific themes and occasions on request.
Most of our programmes have a running time of approximately 50 minutes. This usually includes the teaching of a simple waiata or poem related to one of the stories. It is of course possible to have a shorter programme

Below are the general costs for performances and workshops.

Short programme (approx 30 min) max audience 150: $200
Full programme (approx 60 min) max audience 250: $400
(negotiable for smaller/larger/multiple groups)
Workshops Half Day $300. Full Day $600
*Special offer for cluster/group bookings.
5 or more full programme bookings - receive a free half day workshop.
8 or more short programme bookings - receive one free 25min performance.
(negotiable for mix of short/full programme bookings)
Transport costs apply for single bookings outside Wellington area.
