Storytellers Guild

New Zealand Guild Of Storytellers/ Nga Kaikorero Purakau o Aotearoa

The NZ Guild of Storytellers is dedicated to preserving, practising and promoting the art of Storytelling. It is the brainchild of Elizabeth Miller, MBE, of Invercargill whose vision and hard work brought about its existence.

The Guild was legally incorporated in 1993. The membership includes professional tellers, teachers, librarians, and parents.

The Guild publishes a quarterly newsletter, encourages the formation of regional storytelling groups and supports storytelling events around the country.

The annual membership subscription is $25.00 for individuals and $30 for affiliated groups. If you are interested in storytelling, either as a listener, a learning teller, or a teller with experience, check out the guild website at www.storytelling.org.nz
